Questions about our IB Summer Revision Courses
How many courses can I book?
You can book as many courses as you like, but no more than one each course period.
Can I take the same course twice?
Yes, you can take the same subject multiple times. You can request to have the same tutor twice, but we cannot guarantee it.
Are there still places available?
Probably, yes. Our course schedules are updated regularly to reflect which courses have filled up. Please view what subjects are still available in Sweden here
and which courses are still available in the UK here.
What is the cost of one course?
One course (i.e. one subject over five days) costs 5850 SEK/ 545 GBP. The fee includes tuition, accommodation and all meals. Full price list can be found here for the UK
and here for Sweden .
I've heard something about discounts being available?
Yes, we offer group discounts to all students. If you are four or more students from the same school attending our courses, then each course you take will be discounted by 300 SEK/25 GBP. If seven or more students sign up your discount will be 500 SEK / 40 GBP. This means that your discount can reach a total of 1500 SEK / 120 GBP!
We also offer a bring a friend discount for our pre-IB courses which you can read more about here.
How are the classes taught?
Each class lasts half a day and is taught over the course of four days (the fifth day being a tuition-free day). This means that a lot of extra work will be expected from you outside of class in order to reinforce your learning and for you to get the most out of your educational experience. Each evening there is a supervised homework session to help you with your assigned workload.
You will thoroughly revise topics that were studied in your first year of the IB, and you will receive some introduction to new topics as well. Throughout, our goal is to put you on a steady footing so that you are as prepared as you can be for your coming final IB year.
How do optional classes work?
Each optional class is a four hour seminar in the topic chosen. These classes are interactive and require you to participate in order to gain the most from them. You will be introduced to the essentials in the topic studied and you will be given exercises that will improve your abilities and capabilities in the topic.
What do I need to bring to the courses?
You need to bring a pen, lots of paper for note-taking and, if your subject requires it, a calculator. If you wish you can bring your course books. This is however not required. We also recommend you to bring a bottle of water to drink during the classes. Anything above that is optional.
What do we do in our spare time?
We have excellent social staff at our courses that organise different kinds of activities each day. You should also expect to spend some time doing homework. In general you will find that the day has too few hours rather than too many at our courses!
Can you arrange for me to be picked up at the airport/central station?
Sorry, we are not able to help you beyond the travel advice which you can find under each course centre description.
It is your own responsibility to make it on time to the pick-up point from where you will be taken to the course centre. If you for reasons beyond your control realise that you will be late for the pickup let our staff know and we will advise you on how to proceed.
